Rowdy is a 1977 stallion with that good Blue Valentine and Joe Hancock blood that cow men love. He is a true blue roan with all of the bone and muscle typical of a Hancock horse. In his younger years, he was used in the arena as a steer jerking horse. He has a wonderful disposition and lots of cow. Even after years of standing at stud, he remains quiet and good-natured. You can put a halter on him in a pasture full of mares and ride off without a hint of trouble.

He passes this outstanding willingness on to his babies, who also carry his abundant muscle and heavy bone. Rowdy does not stand to outside mares, but we do have a limited number of his get for sale. Many have his roan color, and many are linebred out of Hancock mares. His colts and fillies will put a sparkle in your eye either on the ranch, in the arena, or as part of your breeding program.
